SMB backup to Azure storage account

Has anyone got SMB backup working to an Azure storage account from a Debian instance of 3CX?

My configuration is as follows:
Network path: smb//storageaccname.file.core.windows.net/3cx-backup
Domain: Azure
User name: storageaccname
Password: longkeyendingwith==

Error: Cannot connect to SMB

SMB through WAN rarely works. Use SFTP.

Hi @Farrside

SMB is more of a low level LAN based thing, you should really stick to SFTP for security and efficiency for your backup mechanism.
