SOLVED: Mobile and IP phone ringing simultaneously

Hi,

I've just finished setting up a 3CX cloud server with a SIP Trunk and users.

Currently, we have 1 receptionist where all the calls come in. She works from home 1 day so she also has the 3CX app on her phone.

The idea is to only ring her mobile phone (3CX app) when she is working from home, the other times she is working in the office I want her IP phone to ring and not her mobile phone.

Small recap:
Current situation: call comes in -> IP phone and Mobile phone go off

Desired/intended situation: call comes in -> only IP phone goes off.
When working from home: call comes in -> only mobile phone goes off.

Is this a possibility or does she need to log out on office days and log back in on her WFH day?

Hello GabrielP,

You can try the following setup:
-create another extension for the smartphone APP, and register the APP to this.
-Set the status that you use for working from home to forward the call to the new extension (smartphone).

In this case the receptionist can get the call in the 'available' status on the deskphone (default), and get the call on the smartphone app when working from home on 'another' status.

Would be an option for your case?
