Support for Fanvil X5U-N

Is there any possibility of native support for Fanvil X5U-N's? I have a working template however the only thing I am not able to do is manage FW versions. Thanks in advance.

The X5U-N looks like it's just a a X5U with no logo so the X5U template should work.

You would think that as I did Unfortunately the UA shows up as VOIP Phone and the FW version shows the MAC Addr.. I was able to get a custom template from Fanvil that allows me to now reboot and reprovision just not update FW.. Was thinking is 3cx added support for this model the FW update could then work. I am playing with the template to see if there is anywhere to "point" to FW or update the UA MAC mapping.. No luck so far.

Hi Joe,

That model will not be supported, you will have to configure and support it manually.

As an alternative, if it is indeed a X5U under the hood, you might as well get proper X5U phones that are fully supported hardware and firmware wise.
