System directive change not applied

Hello,

I would like to modify a 3CX system directive to replace the default voice message.

I followed the procedure for creating/copying a set of system directives, then replaced the relevant directive with my own audio file.

However, when I upload my audio file, it doesn’t seem to be recognized: the original system message continues to play.

The file is indeed in WAV format, as required by 3CX.

Is there an additional step I need to take to ensure the new directive is actually applied? Do I need to restart or reload a service, or enable the new set of directives in a specific location?

Since you have made changes to the prompts, you need to restart the 3CX PhoneSystem 01 IVR Server and the
3CX PhoneSystem Media Server in order for the changes to be applied.

Make sure that there are no active calls during the restart of the services if this is a live production PBX.

I have already restarted the 3CX PhoneSystem 01 IVR and 3CX PhoneSystem Media Server services. I also tried restarting all 3CX services and then the entire server, but the problem persists.

I created a copy of the prompt set, named "French Prompts - Custom", and it was in this copy that I replaced the file corresponding to the VMLDSBL prompt (voicemail_disabled.wav).

However, the original message "Voicemail disabled for this extension" continues to play.

The original "French Prompts Set" is also still present. Do I need to explicitly set my copy as the active prompt set somewhere? If so, could you tell me where to make this setting?

The message that you gonna hear depends on the Voicemail Language that the caller has.
For the custom prompt set you have created, navigate to the user you are going to make the call to the extension that has the VM disabled and change the Voicemail language to "French Prompts - Custom".

Make a call from that extension, and you should hear the custom WAV file you have added.
