Hi,
We love the ability to sync the status of our employees from Teams to 3CX. However, there is one issue we keep encountering: Teams switches the status of users to “Away” after a few minutes of inactivity. We have employees who need to visit local sites for our customers but leave their PCs on in the office. When this happens, they are switched to “Away” and become unavailable to call using 3CX because it follows the away routing.
It would be great if, in the next update, we could customize the 3CX behavior for the sync. For example, by ignoring the “Away” status or mapping the “Away” status to the “Available” state in 3CX instead of the same “Away” state.
If there are any other users or staff who know of a workaround for the current situation, we would love to hear it so we can implement it.
Kind regards,
Boyke
