Hi all,

Setting up a Telstra SIP Trunk for a customer. Have dual homed the server (SIP trunk terminates on its own link), configured static routes etc as per the "Multiple internet gateways" section:
:

https://www.3cx.com/blog/docs/network-configurations-supported-3cx-phone-system/

When we try and register the SIP trunk, the host part is populated with the site's public IP, instead of the IP address of the NIC connected to the SIP trunk:

Contact: <sip:XXXXXXXXX@External_Address:5060;transport=TCP;rinstance=1759218973b932f7>

Telstra requires: Contact: <sip:XXXXXXXXX@Internal_Address:5060;transport=TCP;rinstance=1759218973b932f7>

I've tried adjusting the "Contact : Host Part" to local_address:5060, and restarted services, but it still sends the Public IP address.

Does anyone know what I need to do to push the correct address?

Thanks in advance,

Jason

So when you say you tried adjusting the contact host part did you mean this section under the trunk options:

Or are you talking about the field on outbound parameters?

Outbound parameters, trunk options fixed it Thank you very much :)

Glad to see the issue has been resolved and thank you for updating the thread. Please note that the included in the PBX templates for Telstra have the option set to the correct value so make sure that you are using the provided templates if you are not already using them.
