Hi,

We recently moved our 3CX server running on Windows 2008 to a new Windows 2012 server and upgraded from 15.5.6354.2 to 15.5.15502.6. A couple of days after the upgrade we noticed the Inbound "Out of Office" message was still on even through it was an hour after Office Hours had started. The timezone configured in 3CX was correct; however we discovered the timezone on the Windows 2012 server was incorrect. When the Windows server timezone was corrected the Inbound "In Office Routing" and "Out of Office" started working as expected.

However, we have discovered the time listed in the message text of email alerts (voicemail, call missed, blacklisted IP, etc) sent by the 3CX system is off by 4 hours. 4 hours is the difference between the currently configured timezone and what the Windows 2012 server used to be. Does a 3CX service need to be restarted or will the Windows Server need to be rebooted?

Thanks

In v15, the Timezone is only obtained from the Operating System when running on Windows. So without restarting the 3cx Services, it's likely to use a cached timezone.

Where are you seeing the Timezone in 3cx that is correct? In the Parameters? As far as I know, the feature of a separate setting was removed after v12.5. The Timezone under the Phone Provisioning only affects the Phone Time.

In 3CX I'm going to Settings -> Timezone & Office Hours Setting -> Timezone. Also if I look in parameters they all look OK (Screenshot attached).

totally forgot that was there... lol. been so long since I've setup a system. I may stand corrected. I thought Timezone setup was removed.

Hello @Michael Lee

You will need to restart the 3CX services as it is required after a timezone change in Windows in order for the phone system to obtain the new timezone. Let us know how that goes

OK, will do.

Thanks

Restarting the services fixed the issue.

Thanks

Glad to see the issue has been resolved and thank you for the update
