Hi !

How can i track a single call from start until end in CDR file? How to use HISTORYID if the numbers (historyid field) do not repeat ?

I must know how many time the call wait in the IVR, QUEUE, ETC...

Thanks!

You can use the Single File per Call CDR method, this way, it's easy to track individual calls.

As @ConceptsWeb mentioned, I would configure 3CX to create a separate text file for each call. Each file is a SUMMARY of the phone call. In the CDR file there is a field named "Chain" that has a list of every extension that touched the call.

If you need help automating the processing CDR files, or need more detailed call data, I encourage you to take a look at our 3CX Exporter tool. Exporter can automate the replication of CDR data in real-time, and all other historical 3CX data on a scheduled basis (default every 60 seconds). Exporter will replicate the data to either SQL Server or MySQL. From there, you can use whatever reporting tool you prefer to create custom reports (including Power Bi, Crystal Reports, SQL Reporting Services, Excel, etc.).

A CDR contains just 3 timestamps: TimeStart, TimeAnswered & TimeEnd. So whilst you can see the intermediate points in a call (in the CDR Chain field) you cannot tell for how long a caller may have been held in each step along the way (like IVR / Queue). The only info that can be deduced from these timestamps is how long the call was ringing for and how long the entire call (including the transit through any intermediate endpoints) lasted for.
