We use only 3CX. We tried them all and nothing was as simple and reliable as 3CX. We also tried Yeastar but felt it lacked a lot of integration possibilities for us, I know it is better now but still. We're also not fan of getting hundreds of DMs per year from them trying to sell us their thing. Also, their pricing is different, remember that! Thanks again for all your help. If you don't mind me asking, which PBXs do you use?
I am now looking seriously at Yeastar P-Series. I setup the Telnyx trunk and it registered right away. Yeastar offers better options for us than 3CX, so I might just focus on the Yeastar since they will probably be the one I will stick with.
Start by messaging me here (click my name and then Start Conversation). We'll simply Zoom/Teams and check it out.OK...I appreciate and trust your experience with 3CX! I was just getting frustrated and needed to move forward.
I am open to to your assistance...much thanks! I can telephone you if you wish?
We'll check that this afternoon! Thanks Rashid. I also tried that to no avail. Not sure how to do any whitelisting! I am logged into the 3CX portal. System is not on my local server.
Thanks Yiannish for offering your support! I am OK with you joining in! I will leave the admin to
ConceptsWeb
.
Or via the My Account section also.@SOTASOTA It's my pleasure assisting. You can request Telnyx support to whitelist the IP through chat box or email. Hopefully, this resolves your issue.
Hi,We'll check that this afternoon!
Or via the My Account section also.
yes, there is a verbose log feature but this is just an IP whitelist issue.I thought that was the root of this. I reached out to Telnyx support and Telnyx responded by saying:
"Separately, we have whitelisted the IP addresses you have provided and ask that you re-test and make sure that you specify sip-anycast1.telnyx.com as the new registrar/host/domain in 3CX. If the issue persists, does 3CX logging provide verbose logging on why the SIP REGISTER was considered a failure?"
Is there a logging feature?
Ping will show the remote IP, not the PBX one.Hi,
Open Telnyx Portal
https://portal.telnyx.com
On the top right corner click on "My Account"
Scroll down to Access Control IP's and add Your 3cx Server IP
After these steps the SIP gets registered if not
Ping sip.telnyx.com
and add the IP shown on cmd to 3cx whitelist.
That's what he did mate. The best solution is to create the SIP Trunk from scratch by selecting a new SIP Trunk from 3CX country Worldwide
All the settings must be the default
Just add the Username password from Telnyx and finish.
Founded in 2005, when VoIP was an emerging technology, 3CX has gone on to establish itself as a global leader in business communications.
