unable to log into 3cx free management console after install

I am running Win2k sp4, 3.4ghz p4, 1 gig ram, and excessive amounts of hard drive space.

also running on the machine is IIS, hosting 3 really really low traffic sites, with php5 and pearl.

When i click on the management icon in the start folder or i navigate to localhost and appropriate port, it just times out. i don't see IIS using the same ports, so i am unsure what is going on. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled and both times, the 3cx webserver hangs on starting in the services snapin, however when you check it after a reboot, it is running fine.

Have you tried restarting your machine?

When 3cx installs it also installs its "web server" component so you might want to do a reboot.

also check if you are using the correct port. I believe http://[yourIP address]:5481/login.php is standard, unless you changed the port. Just noticed that yours is on [5480] so try http://[yourIP address]:5480/login.php

There are a few cases here and there that had issues with installing 3cx on a IIS machine running PHP5, but in the end it worked out.

What I did when I installed 3cx was,
turning off all the IIS/php/apache sites
install 3cx
reboot
enable all the IIS/PHP/Apache sites

and it just worked.

changed the php dll file to something different and it now works. guess it doesn't like having two of them. I just changed how IIS calls it and now everything is in harmony!
