Solved Unable to reach 3CX License Activation Server. Confirm that your Primary DNS Server is able to resolve activation.3cx.com

Dear Support team,

Since we got this warning mail from3CX that the FQDN will change from activation.3cx.com to activate.3cx.com.
there were no guideline on the Procedure to ensure that.

Is it possible that you advice the procedure to be able to activate the licenses
As we can the error message : Unable to reach 3CX License Activation Server. Confirm that your Primary DNS Server is able to resolve activation.3cx.com .

And as reseller we can't install new licenses.

Is there any thing we need to do.
And how to change the DNS server to make it active.

We are unable to activate our licenses so please treat this as urgent as we have many installation.

If you log on to the PBX's machine / VM - change the primary DNS to 8.8.8.8 and the secondary to 8.8.4.4, this should resolve any DNS issues you're encountering.

The instruction was to ensure your PBX was up to date. I would unrestrict any traffic out of your PBX.

there should be no issues why you cant install new licenses as long as they can contact activation servers.

What DNS are you using?

You would follow step 4 to change DNS

And as a Bronze partner you have access to support from 3CX. If your case is urgent I recommend using your portal and not the community forum.

I'd need the PBX version number, what OS the machine is running etc.

i did it is now okay. i did change the DNS of the raspberry PI to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. Thank you very much
