Unlimited SIP trunk

I have 8SC calls from a 3CX preferred SIP trunk provider, the outbound calls are charged.
If I were to get an unlimited SIP trunk from a different provider how to I make 3CX use the unlimited trunk to make outbound calls and only if that line is busy use the paid outbound calls?
More importantly, is it possible to have SIP trunks from two different providers?
Can the outbound caller ID remain same?
I could get it from my original provider as well; but I was thinking of getting it from a different provider may work like a failsafe in case one of them is down.

To answer the more specific questions which may not be covered in the training:

is it possible to have SIP trunks from two different providers?

Yes

Can the outbound caller ID remain same?

I think this would depend on the trunk and provider, you can configure "Configure Outbound Caller ID" on the trunk(s) itself which in most cases should do it, but if all else fails there is Call-ID spoofing software available by some 3rd party providers, this enables you to set this manually on all calls.
