Update 1 ETA

Has anyone seen any hints or indications of when update 1 is most likely to land?

We need reports functional so will be coming from 18. I need to pencil in some out-of-hours time for the upgrade and some other bits of associated VPS migration / SBC work requiring downtime on a couple of sites, so it would be useful to have a ballpark as to how imminent it is.

It might be worth waiting a little bit before updating, I've noticed a few peculiar behaviors since updating. Luckily my deployment is just for my home and not being used in a commercial environment.

What I've observed so far is the following: If you're on a call via the mobile app to a phone (on or off net), in my case a Yealink T48W I've noticed that on a couple of calls the audio randomly vanishes (both directions), but stays connected. And on a couple of occasions calls have dropped.

I've checked my firewall rules, nothing has changed and everything is present and correct.

Edit: Found the issue, nothing wrong with 3CX itself, it's a problem with mobile / cellular coverage. Whilst the phone was connected via 5G, data was very erratic. Calls via PSTN/SIP Trunk are good, and if I get both phones in the same room / same network, no problem.

Hi there.
Keep in mind that it is still a Beta release, however, the issue you describe is not necessarily an issue on the Phonesystem, but a network-related, audio not reaching the endpoint. For the call drop, you will also need to see, who ends the call.

Wait, what? Scheduled reports are now going to be in update 2 instead of update 1?

The previous 3CX blog said "Do not upgrade if your setup requires Scheduled Reports, this feature will be included in Update 1".

It was already frustrating that core functionality was left out of a major release. Now there seems to be no acknowledgement that this has been dropped from update 1 other than telling us to wait for update 2 in the blog...

Sorry @OlegR_3CX - I don't usually see the point in disagreeing with 3CX staff but I think you're revising history there.

It was categorically stated that it would be in update 1 in the blog posts for more than one of the RCs, regardless of what might have been said elsewhere. And blog posts seem to be where 3CX would like us to take our direction from.
