Update 4 adds a new ‘Receptionist’ view in the Web Client for easy access to team status. We\'ve also revamped live chat functions, making it much faster and more compact. Plus check out our improvements to audio quality in the 3CX Apps.

I see the webclient has changed people to teams - how does this work on the desktop client - is there an update to push out?

What is Multi Company Mode?

I am also curious about this Multi Company Mode feature. I can't find any documentation about it online.

Yes once on update 4, Desktop App will auto update to the latest version
Allow for some time or restart the App to get it.

I'm having a hard time finding any recent documentation on Rasberry Pi support. I've seen old posts about not releasing updates, but nothing in any of the recent beta release notes or the final. We are still on 18.0 Update 2 (Build 314) on our Raspberry Pi 3B+. Is this release or future releases going to be supported for 3CX Pi customers?

Per https://www.3cx.com/blog/releases/v18-update-3-final/ "Raspberry is undergoing some changes which will bring future builds of its operating system in line with Debian. When 3CX supports Debian 11 (bullseye) we will look at supporting Raspberry once again."
Yes that is the last official update I am referring to. Very ambiguous. Does someone at 3CX have an update? Debian 11 was released in August of 2021.

after upgrading to SP4 and moving the Click2Meet settings to the web client, there is now no way to disable the "Requires you to connect to the meeting first" setting. Now my interlocutor cannot call me to the conference with one click. Earlier, my interlocutor clicked on the link in the email and started a conference with me, I received a notification in the chat, followed the link (for example, in the webmeeting app for iOS) and we communicated. now this is not possible.

Just to confirm the update on the desktop client will work on the corporate install (msi)? I didn't have the users install it under their profile

It says when 3CX for Debian 11 is released, not when Debian 11 is released.

I understand the difference, just looking for an update ;)

Since Debian 10 is good for another 2 years there's really no rush for 3CX to update. They can add features or they can spend time testing against an OS update but not both. I wouldn't expect to see Debian 11 support until v19 or whatever the next version is going to be called.

I can't find any information on the MULTICOMPANYMODE. can anyone point me in the right direction?

Multi-Company Mode (MCM) provides the ability to isolate groups from calling within each other.

It's a cool feature to prevent some users call to other internally

Hai,

Since update 3CX version 18.0 (Build 965)

It is not possible to configure the "Auto Switch" via management console. this is very annoying.

1.function which are available via web client must also be adjustable in the management console for installer / administrator.

2.we enable use of a virtual USER and then set up an automatic switch schedule for most of our clients.

For example, we manage several schools from different foundations that each have more than 20 locations. each schools have own number and own virtual USER with their own auto switch schedule.

it's just not convenient and uncontrollable to work this way.

why is this no longer possible? Please bring this feature back!

No this is not possible anymore from the management console. It will be back after update 6 from the webclient. Please see this blog post. As i already said before, the setting will remain enabled or disabled as it was in update 3. Centralized changing of the setting will be possible again from update 6.

Hi Nick,

Any idea how long before we get update 6 (Scheduling back to the console) as the scheduling feature is key to a number of issues around time profiles for different departments etc? Also did I read somewhere that you are also implementing a new scheduling feature that may remove the need to use a dummy user to create time profiles?

Cheers

Tony
