Update 5 Alpha: Teams Status Control and Voicemail Transcription for PRO

I'm confused with the reference to trunks and "department owners", are they saying "Department Administrators" will now have access to potentially shared SIP trunk settings or are they creating a new Role called "Department Owner" in addition to what we have now?

department owners exist and they are in the roles table. If you create a SIP trunk within a department then the department admin and owner can edit that SIP trunk.

System wide SIP trunks created outside of a department can only be edited by a System owner or system admin. If you follow the multi tenant guide then you will see that system owner and system admin rights should only be given to yourself so system wide SIP trunks can only be edited or created by yourself.

Is there a timeline for moving 20.0.5 out of Alpha?

We are licensed for PRO and had OpenAI dialed in for transcription in previous versions of 3CX.
It was quite accurate, and my users were happy.

We lost OpenAI transcription around version 20.0.4 (as the only option now is to move to Google Transcription).
Because we use a different backup storage solution - we really don't want to move to Google Storage just to re-enable transcription...but my end users are very eager to get their transcription back...

Transcription requires an Enterprise license. Update 5 will go out of beta in January. Google transcription in version 18 only did 2 minutes of call btw.

If you are talking about voice mail only then no problem yes this will be part of PRO going forward. Update 5 should be out in the coming weeks

I very much love the circles avatar, looks more modern.1736472130125.png

I really hope Lydis firmware will also be supported soon again, we have some customers that really demand the Dutch language on their phones. If Yealink would just incorporate the Dtuch language in their firmware that would also be fine.

Most dutch people speak English, however most dutch people are also naggers :)

You can implement the firmware into the PBX.

Select the option to use unsupported firmware

Upload the firmware files.

This will upload the firmware to the PBX

Then you can just apply it to the phone when upgrading it.

In the Feature Import/Export CID, is it possible to selectively delete all rules with a single selection? Additionally, when importing rules, there is no duplicate check, so duplicates must be deleted manually, and only 50 lines can be deleted at a time.:D

I'm anxiously awaiting Update 5's general release. I intend to deploy several Snom D812s and they're not officially supported in Update 4. ETA, please?

Any update on this Alpha release....I like the transcription options for PRO, however, it still says not to use in a production setting?
