Upgrading to v12 - removing MyPhone v11

I have upgraded to v12 on the server.

I now try to remove the MyPhone (that was working on v11) on a workstation via Windows Control Panel, Remove Programs, and I get the message "An error occurred while trying to uninstall 3CX MyPhone It may have already been uninstalled. Would you like to remove 3CX MyPhone from the programs and features list"

Removing it from the list won't uninstall it so I said No.

How do I remove MyPhone please? Currently it pops up when windows is booted and then comes up with error because it can't work with v12.

We are using Windows 8 if that makes any difference.

Any help appreciated!

Have you tried right click on MyPhone, select uninstall?

Yes tried that, just takes you to the same place as removing programs via control panel, and gives the same error.

At present I'm unable to uninstall the MyPhone on each workstation that related to v11

I am picking apart the components.. here is what I find.

The uninstall string for my MyPhone (not the "Desktop Components") is this:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Silverlight\4.1.10329.0\Silverlight.Configuration.exe -uninstallApp 2320895020.sip.cogentit.com

My guess would be that whatever your "app" is listed at the end has changed since the original install.

So.. here's the "target" for my 3CX MyPhone shortcut:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Silverlight\sllauncher.exe" 2320895020.sip.cogentit.com

Again.. my guess is that the apps no longer match between what was "installed" (it's a Silverlight applet..) and what the "uninstall" command looks like.
