All,

updating looks pretty straight forward. However, i get the following when attempting to update our NFR system to Version 20:

[33m====== [12:46:03] Preparation: Not enough CPU cores. At least 2 CPU cores are required for a smooth upgrade.[39m
[33m====== [12:46:03] Upgrade Result: *******************************************[39m
{
"result": "aborted",
"time": "21-03-2024 12:46:03",
"title": "Insufficient CPU cores",
"message": "There are not enough CPU cores. Please make sure there are at least 2 CPU cores before upgrading."
}
::FAIL::

I also found the following:

Subscription Details
3CX Version: 18.0
Type: Annual
Edition: 3CX Enterprise
Simultaneous Calls: 32
Subscription expires in: 3937 days
Hosting expires in: 3937 days

NFR subscriptions cannot be upgraded.

My question is: is this (NFR subs cannot be upgraded) speaking of updating firmware from Ver18 to Ver20 or something else?

The first part of the log refers to the fact that the system needs a minimum of 2 CPU cores to allow the update from version 18 to 20. The subscriptions can not be upgraded, but the 3cx system can if the resources are in place.

what are my options for systems on Ligthsail that I have running 1 vCPU? I don't ever remember reading anywhere that 2CPU cores were going to be required.

Two cores is a new requirement for V20, and the smallest Lightsail now has two cores.
