Handset: Samsung Galaxy J prime model SM-G530A
Baseband G5300AUCS4AOIA
Kernel version 3.10.49-828509
Build # LMY48B.G530AUCS4AOIA
Android: 5.1.1

I'm wondering if the android client is supposed to stay registered as the phone moves across networks from wifi to 4g and vice versa. I have found that if I open the 3cx client app in the office where the phone is connected to wifi, it registers and functions fine. But when I leave the office and the phone switches to 4g, the app does not stay registered unless it is opened (or brought to focus). When I come back to the office and the phone connects to the wifi again, same thing happens where i have to open the app for it to register and start functioning again.

In my wifi settings on the phone, I have an option to 'Automatically switch between wifi and mobile networks to maintain a stable internet connection'. I have this option checked.

It seems as though the 3cx app needs to be opened for it to register when the network connection of the phone changes.

Is this expected behavior? Am I missing something?

Thanks

Shawn
