v16 change length of extensions?

I've setup a v16 server, with 3 digit extensions. To cut out a lot of my work I restored a template backup we use, but it has a 2 digit extension setup in it. It appears to have set my server to use 2 digit extensions. Is there a way I can manually change this back to 3?

You will have to reinstall the system. We do not support changing the extension length after installation

A new build with a longer Extension Length is the only reliable way you will be able to go. Obviously, it is not without effort but you will be happy you spent the time in the long run. We have tried workarounds that just don't work.
Make sure you have all your Export CSV Files to speed the re-population process. (Extensions, Trunk Providers, and Inbound Rules) You can easily make changes to Ext. Length and scheme in the spreadsheet and re-import. Way better than entering from scratch. I hope that helps...
