Not sure if it has been reported or if the change is intentional, but Microsoft 365 integration and other options have been removed from all but the system admin. Other users with all System Management permissions cannot see Microsoft 365, Google, Instance Manager, or Parameters on the settings screen.

Microsoft 365, Google, Instance Manager and Parameters settings, for security reasons, are available only for the system admin.

On the extension makes sure that you enable Click2Meet on "Click2Talk/Click2Meet" tab. Also email address is required for that extension.

Thanks, it worked, but will it be like this in version 18? We will not have, but in options, the box where permission could be given or not for the webmeeting. Because in V16 it was not necessary for click to call to be active to be able to use webmeeting?

in the upgrade from v16 to v18 it is checked if the old "Web Meeting" option is enabled and if so, the Click2Meet option should be enabled. However if you had Click2Meet once enabled and then disabled it, then it will remain disabled.

You need to be on the latest version of V16. This would be Update 8.
Then you will find in the general update section an OS + 3CX upgrade button.
For this of course to work, your system needs to be able to connect to your download servers.

It would be nice to have a quick access to a video conference from the chat in 1:1, indeed, most of the time, we use this feature rather than "simple video".

Other suggestions for the interface

The button to download the mobile app is duplicated, and its positioning is not logical, I suggest to remove the right icon to keep only the module buttons.




In the presence list, it would be nice if we could put back the videoconference button like in v16



I'm not a big fan of letting the user have easy access to the settings, in a company context, we prefer that the user doesn't go through the settings too much

In v16, it was very comfortable to dial by typing the phone number in the search box, it is more convenient than the dialer. I suggest to put it back.

I cannot replicate this behavior on my end. Can you give me some details of what you are doing so we can try and replicate?

Do you have a first name and last name on your extension? If not can you make sure you have both a first name and a last name and try again?

Now it's ok with first and last name. This bug appears only when one name is set.

"Absent for inactivity"
I know this topic has already been discussed quickly, but the automatic status change is important ( particularly in the current context with work from home), and especially the absent status when there is no activity on the computer for xx minutes.
I understand that it doesn't make sense when you install app on the mobile in addition to the app on the computer, but it does make sense when you only use the computer.
So I propose that it should be an administrator option to activate this feature, if the app is only open on a computer (and not running on the mobile app), after xx minutes without activity, the status goes to absent automatically (if it was present before), maybe we need a special status like 'absent (inactivity)' to mark the distinction between a real wish to be in absent status, and an absent because no longer in front of his screen.

Idea of GUI improvement in visioconference

The screensharing is the most needed feature in a videoconference, a quick access on this tool is mandatory (like in V16)



Another improvement is the possibilty to have the camera in another windows where we share the screen, it's useful when you have multiple screens and wants to follow reactions of participants. This feature exists in gotomeeting for example, you click on the icon, and participants camera popup/detach in another window, leting us to move on another screen.

I completely agree... but for a more specific reason, the search in the mini app does not search contacts. it only searches people who are located under the "people" tab.
