enable login via Google or MS and you have even more then just 2FA
Really wish that was the answer, but some of us don't fall within the implementation specs of MS/Google and 3cx.

I.e. A number of our customers are spread across multiple tenants.

It would be highly beneficial for a standalone MFA integration for Admin acounts.

When calling an internal extension it strips off the first number. Eg, 1005 becomes 005.

Also on a separate note, when receiving a Teams call should the 3cx phone ring?
@Stephen Quam @Frederick Marcoux

Are the PBXs installed as 3-digit or 4-digit? Is it that "1005" is an extension across a Bridge?

4 digit system. there isn't even a bridge installed in this system.

I just installed the new version 18. I would like to know if this is the version of the RC - 18.0.1871
Correct, that is 3CX v18 RC (18.0.0.1871).

What I mean is a contact's last name is abbreviated to just the first letter when viewed in the desktop app
This happens if you also have the company name entered for a contact. If a contact does not include a company name, then the surname should also be visible in the 3CX Desktop App.

That is a problem because having a contact's company name is all part of having a detailed address book (phonebook)

3-digit. We do have bridges but this is just me (101) calling 103 via Teams, the CID shows up as "01" only.
If you go to the Teams Admin Panel, then Voice --> Dial Plans and select the Dial Plan, can you send a screenshot of what you see in a PM?

The information is all still there, you can click on the contact for the full details.

Where is the inbuilt support system, I was looking forward to checking it out.

That has been pushed out for a later release.

3CX staff member inform me a few months ago, the V18 will include the integration whit FRESHWORKS, but I don't see this integration in the RC. Is the integration on the plans or was cancelled?

@Jose Lara We dont make any announcements in that way. We support Freshdesk and this is already in the build. You can take this script and modify it with the help of Freshdesk i am sure.

Yes there will be updates in this area

Due to security risks allowing customers to run code execution on our managed instances, CFDs are still not supported in our hosting.

Just host them on a regular cloud? What's bad in that?

i like the hosted becuase, always up, zero maintenance, the upgrade are automatic (an futures update), no firewall/networks problems, support directly from 3cx etc, etc.

All are advantages, only the callflow it's a problema for me.

For those few customers, you can surely live with the fact that you manage them. Anyway, use the instance manager, with the auto-updates and a good cloud provider, and you won't need anyone's support.

We run all of ours on AWS and Vultr. We never had any major issue.
