I found the old post regarding potentially broken templates causing the "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." error when clicking on a user's extension. I tried to go into Settings -> Templates to inspect and the directory appears to be empty. (I don't yet have SSH to this box, it's a customer that I only provide light support for)

I can edit other extensions, just not the ones that have a stock Yealink T54W template. Other functions appear to be working okay, so far.

Anything else I can look for while I wait to hear back from the customer's internal admin?

Version: 18.0.1880

Edit:
While I wait for their admin, I tried to add a phone and there are indeed no templates to even choose from. I did make sure to do a reboot post upgrade to make sure there was nothing weird hanging out.

When you do get access to the machine please check the following directories:

Code:
/var/lib/3cxpbx/Instance1/Data/Http/Interface/provisioning/<random folder name>/CustomTemplates/phones

Code:
/var/lib/3cxpbx/Instance1/Data/Http/Templates/phones

What do they contain?

/var/lib/3cxpbx/Instance1/Data/Http/Templates/phones - as expected (compared to my internal box)
/var/lib/3cxpbx/Instance1/Data/Http/Interface/provisioning/<random folder name>/CustomTemplates/phones (FULL of random historical garbage)

I purged custom templates and the GUI instantly resumed behaving. I wasn't interested in determining what or why the issue happened, but deleting the cruft fixed it!

Glad to hear the issue was resolved @cparker_RCT. Feel free to open a new thread if you require any further assistance or information.
