Has there been any word on if the Inbound Rules page will be returning? I have a large number of DID's in my system and have become dependant on that page for managing them.

Thats good to hear. Is that likely to include the re-introduction of the Inbound Rules page in the process?
While I can't speak for 3CX, everything I've seen says that the inbound rules page isn't coming back.

We went ahead and did V20 on ours. We have to learn the new interface and obstacles. Everything has been good with the exception of the CID inbound routing. We have VIP clients that are assigned to queues. Do we have any kind of ETA on when the inbound caller id rules will return or a confirmation that they will not be returning?

The problem I am having is that the DID for SMS is assigned to a user that sends SMS but it's the number is the same as of the main office, so I cannot send that CID to the main IVR. When they call, it goes to the user's extension. How do I separate?

You can set the DID to go to the IVR, and in the IVR > Options tab, you can select the user in "Forward SMS to:"

Thanks! That worked.

Thank you 3cx for adding the sms forwarding! It works great and we were able to remove our workarounds.

Another for add the rules screen back.

A dedicated CID routing page is being developed and will be back in the near future. More info here.

+1 on need for Inbound rules

Automatic routing can not replace Inbound rules flexibility. I hope 3CX brings it back on v20 soon. Otherwise I am rolling back.

re: CID, today's v20 webinar specifically said the new Route Point API can be used to route calls based on caller ID.

Missing CID Inbound rulles to route dedicated CIDs to different ring groups ?
What i'm missing is the v18 possibility to route dedicated nubmers from a Trunk to a dedicated Ring group. In v18 i had a lot of rules like this.In v20 i'm perhapse blind and do not see this rule set :(

Any idea, where i can find the CID inbound rules that redirect CIDs to Ring groups in v20 ? if it's removed, that's from my point of view more than one step backward.

Thx forward
Chris
Hello! Just migrated one of my servers to V20, CID rules show up in Admin Console / Advanced / CID Rules

Hello,

I've just been asked to setup a 3CX PBX for a customer, it's my first one on V20 and I can't find anywhere to change the "CalledNum" to use "Request line URI : User Part" like I could for inbound calls on V18. I assume this is another missing feature of V20, are there plans to implement this back in? I'll be unable to use registration trunks if not.

You can "export" the trunk, edit and reimport the XML file.

+1
We have many user extensions with assigned DIDs and different In-Office/Out-of-office routes.
When In office - ring user phone, out of office - route to IVR.
In v18 this is easily configured with Inbound rules
In v20 I can't find how to configure this. As a workaround - create a bunch of 'dummy' ring groups or departments 1 per user extension. But that doesn't looks right to me.
Am I missing something? Or maybe In-office/out-of-office routing at extension level will be added later?

I just upgraded a test instance and if I'm not mistaken - this is the what we were all used to with INBOUND RULES:
Advanced >> CID Rules
