Beta 2 adds the ability for users to schedule their own reports.

Following on from the V20 Update 1, BETA, BETA 2 is now available for try-outs. We’re bringing back the Scheduled Reports feature, improved with a new per user reports scheduler.

Scheduled Reports Are Back
The scheduled reports feature is back and it’s better....

I like it, but I don't like it‍

What I don't like:
- The reports are scheduled for each users.
- Reports to multiple e-mail addresses, multiple users or custom e-mail address is not possible.
- Add a time to the Custom range selection is not possible.
- Change the time and or day when to send the report is not possible
- Not able to resend the report.

What I like:
- More options in the Range dropdown
- More options in the From and To dropdown
- Let the users create there own reports.

I hope the old way of reporting will come back.

Edit: I think it is better to add a timezone selection at the scheduled Report Creation and Default it is selected at your main Department timezone. I Hope a Grafana integration will come soon. :)

Will it be possible to assign SBCs to Departments at any point soon - our "Department Administrators" cannot add phones to users because they can't choose the SBC the phone will go through?

I like that users can schedule their own reports, and that it's now getting attached as a CSV file rather than a web link :) It increases the flexibility we can offer going forward.

Is there a way for an admin to create reports on behalf of other users? We have the same report containing a number of queues that goes to several staff, so I can envisage having to talk them all through creating the report themselves.

Good point. I'd prefer we can manually input the email address(es) for report delivery. It could be to another user, a distribution list, or a mailbox that is used for processing Power BI, etc.

Would a workaround for this be to create a dummy extension using the list email address, and schedule the report there?

@SteveITS that workaround would definitely work, but it's another account to login as so I'd prefer the flexibility. But great idea and worth doing for now.

In the end I would love to see an "impersonate" option for certain admin/owner roles so they can act as the user without credentials. Audit log should show the actual user that performed the action.

Hi Team
Thanks for the great feedback
Let's drill on this: Ability to send report to email addresses - Agreed - coming soon

About adding custom emails - What are we going to do with external users? Would they be happy with CSV only? Because to view the reports you need to be an existing user with rights and able to login to the webclient.

Question to think about - Are we interested to send the report to users who are external? Or would it be ok if you get this report and then you forward it from your email client to whoever you want? (Then you can formulate the body and clean)

But for users that can login, we agree - we will add this option in the next update.

Thanks so much for the feedback - in the meantime, our teams are checking the other features

We need to be able to send the reports to any emails, because some reports need to go to distribution lists or shared mailboxes. Not necessarily "external users". Just the CSV would be fine with any body.

I think the key point behind external addresses is automatic reporting. The reports from 3CX will send to an external address to be tailored with data from other systems. So the limition from @ConceptsWeb to send the report CSV to any address would be ok for the automatic systems.

When will it be possible again to configure different out-of-office announcements and attendance announcements for different locations?

You can do so with departments in v20.

Unfortunately no, I would like to have my own absence announcement for location A and the same for B

I don't know how you do your routing, but it is possible with departments. Or you can use CFD.

Unfortunately, I don't see any possibility with the departments. Where was this supposed to be? I've never worked with the CFD before, but I'm going to sit on it

You can add a queue, IVR or ring group to a department then the queue ect will follow the time routing from the department.
If you send a call to queue x it will first check what the time routing is from the department.

Great, you helped me with that. How can I set the leave for an IVR?

This thread topic was related to the Scheduled report, and not the routing configuration etc. Can you kindly open a new thread on your request, and maybe there in more details you can describe your request?
Thank you

Is there anyway to change what time the scheduled reports arrive? I set up a daily extension report and it arrived at 4am. Can this be changed at all? Also the link on the email that I got simply takes me to a live report for today rather than showing me stats for yesterday.
