V20 - When to update

I have an on premise V18 instal on Windows 4SC with a free license which expires 02.03.24. The license with expire unless I upgrade to V20 but I see posts saying V20 won’t be released for a few weeks potentially after 02.03.24. Will the free license be extended or should I upgrade to V20 RC3?

Thanks for your advice, do I just hit the upgrade button on the 'Your 3CX Page' as in the screenshot? I have split DNS set up plus hopefully all the other pre-requisites. Thanks for your help!

No thats to upgrade your license.

if its on premise you will log in to 3CX management console and do the update from there.

Thanks again, I don't see the update to V20 button on my Updates page, it just says my system is up to date. I have checked for updates but nothing appears....any ideas?

Are you on Windows? To upgrade to v20 it'll be a backup, uninstall, install. Debian you can update within the mgmt console.

I think you're right, just been poking about and can only find V18. I guess if one isn't released by 02.03.24 I'll have to buy a license and keep V18 going for a while longer. Could you sell me a license in that case?

sure but i think they'll either release it by then or let you stay free until they've got the windows installer.

Windows isnt the future for 3cx and will not be free. Just install the Linux ISO and be happy.
