V20 Windows - Hotdesking not working

I upgraded an On-Prem Windows system to V20 Friday morning. The issue that I am having is that Hotdesking seems to have a issue. The reps are logging into the phone and the console is showing the phone logged in by the rep, however the phones are getting stuck showing HDXXXXX. I have tried to reboot the phones. Force logged out the reps to try again. Made sure the phones (Yealink T42S) are on the latest firmware. Nothing seems to be working. As a workaround, I am deleting the phones from Hotdesk and manually assigning, which is not a good solution.

Any ideas what I could do next? The phones are set to provision to the FQDN and split DNS is set up.

Please check the HTTP/S ports 3CX uses on your dashboard, and confirm if the provisioning URL on the phones matches this.



When upgrading windows installs to V20 (uninstall, reinstall, use backup) the config wizard asks you to choose your ports and you need to type in whatever you had before otherwise it defaults to provisioning port 443 and 80.

If you used different ports previously (ie. 5000, 5001), the phones will have to be manually reprovisioned once using the new config URL. Please keep in mind that the backups do not include ports, these are defined by the admin during installation.

The dash now shows 80 and 443. For HTTPS I can't imagine that was changed. In V18 and below was the default port any different? We did have 5001 for the management interface for sure, but standard 443 was used for things like the web client. The phone is provisioning to HDXXXXX and the system shows the user logged into the hot desk extension, its just not switching the phone.

Check the Yealink's URL under Settings > Auto Provision > Server URL
