Windows Softphone V20.0.990.0 Error

Hi,

Customer is trying to install windows softphone v20.0.990.0 and is getting an error message:

Reason:
App Installer failed to install package dependencies. Ask the developer for package.

What could be the reason for this error ?
May the installation error be corrupted ?
Does anyone already received this error ?

Where is he trying to install it and how? Which operating system, which update level?

Is he using the MS Store or installing via MSIX?

Tried both, via MSIX and via MS Store.

The PC has W10 22H2.

@PSimões please make sure your Window OS is up to date.

Additionally try installing this dependency:
http://downloads.3cx.com/downloads/3cxsoftphone/Microsoft.WindowsAppRuntime.1.7.msix
