I have never experienced this issue with 3CX and have used lots of these Patton BRI devices. I did experience something similar with Gateways when using FAX extensions but it is not relevant for now.

How many ports are you using and what model of Patton (4120, 4638 etc) ? You arent using the new Trinity based models are you ? these are un-supported with 3CX.

I would say this is a 3CX issue not Patton however please ensure you are running the latest firmware on the Patton also just to rule this out.

Hello,
I'm using a SmartNode 4120 with 2 ISDN lines (4 sim calls) with the latest firmware. It had been initially configured with 3CX version 11 as two separate gateways (extension 10000 and 10001), each one with 2 sim calls. I've recently found this guide https://www.3cx.com/voip-gateways/smartnode-isdn/ and reconfigured it as a single gateway. Now 10001 appears as unregistered.
Thanks
Sergio

Ah so to confirm:

* Your 3CX System is an upgrade from a previous v11 system - as you are probably aware (and I cannot recall exactly which devices/models) but Patton PSTN devices were split per line in earlier versions of the system.

* You have said already but you have definitely re-provisioned the Gateway after updated to the version 15.5 of 3CX.

I think if you were to re-install with a new system (without the v11 config) the issue would probably go away however this is not a great option (unless you have very minimal config).

Yes, the system has been constantly upgraded starting from version 11. I think it's not a big problem, since it is just a warning on the home screen, I wouldn't re-install the pbx unless some other functional issue shows up.

Thanks
Sergio

Agreed - if it ain't broke - don't try and fix it. Patton Gateways are fantastic products and are rock solid!
