Hi,
I started following this guide for a T23G (sorry - for the error in the subject. It is T23G, not T32G):
https://www.3cx.com/sip-phones/yealink-t20p-t22p-t26p-t28p/#h.t1bqrzr3bieo
Updated the phone to firmware ver. 44.83.0.55. Reset to factory thru the web interface as I am at a remote location. Therefore I cannot physically dis/reconnect the unit. Is that necessary?

The phone does not show up in the phone tab in 3CX

Thanks.

Thank you. That link does not show the T23G as EOL. Am I missing something? And would the DHCP setting be necessary for them to show up in the phone list? Or only for provisioning?
To state the obvious, I am a newbie at this.

Hello @expat_1000

The phone is not EOL and you should be able to auto provision it. However you do not mention the provisioning method you are trying to use. Is the phone local to the PBX or remote? If it local then factory resetting the phone will force the phone to send a multicast request which will make the phone appear under Phones as a new device. If that does not happen then the phone is not in the same subnet as the PBX or the NIC of the host machine is not listening to PnP multicast requests. You can troubleshoot that by following the guide below
https://www.3cx.com/docs/plug-and-play-ip-phone/

If the phone is remote that you will need an SBC to have the phone appear under the Phones section of the management console. If you are using STUN then you will need to provision the phone using RPS as described in the guide.

Apologies @YiannisH_3CX let me rephrase - this model is Yealink EOL they have not produced or sold the T3x series for a while now.

That is true but the phone received the latest firmware from Yealink so it should not have any issues with PnP.

I moved the server to the same switch as the phones and all is well. Thanks.

That is my fault for garbling the subject line of my inquiry!
