Solved Yealink W52P - Can't Login After Provisioning

Following instructions to provision device manually:

Before provisioning, I am able to get into the device to place the cfg file through web browser with default username/password "admin". I don't make any changes to any passwords in web browser. In 3cx, the extension I associate with the device has a username of "admin" and a different password.

Then I provision the device, and once complete I am returned to the browser login screen. However, neither the default uid/pass work, nor to the one that is set as part of the extension. So I'm locked out!

What am I doing wrong?

go to FXS/DECT find your phone, the webpage password will be in there

You're right - the different variations of passwords between devices and functions within 3cx is rather confusing. Thanks for your help.

I was able to solve this:
- before provisioning, the username and password to access the device = admin
- set a 10 digit or greater password in the 3cx DECT device area
- provision, and use the new password with "admin" as the username
