Hi all. I'm trying to set up a Yealink W60P DECT phone and have followed the instructions:

https://www.3cx.com/sip-phones/manually-provision-yealink-dect/

I'm not receiving inbound calls, and outbound I'm getting "Unknown URI Scheme". I'm positive everything between 3CX<-->Flowroute is OK as I'm able to make calls on 3CX soft phone. Any idea about what could be wrong?

To step one is to verify the 3CX -> W60P connection before adding another variable (Flowroute) into the equation. Can you dial voicemail or the echo extension from the W60P? Can you perform an internal call (extension to extension) between the W60P and the soft phone? If you can't do any/all of those then you likely need to start over by factory resetting your W60P

Thanks for the ideas. I've already factory reset once. The extension to extension is a good idea. I currently have both the softphone and Yealink on the same extension (the Yealink is the first phone that's come in for the new system). I'll set up both on different extensions and then get back here with results.

can you see the base unit registered to 3cx

How are you provisioning the phone - local, stun or sbc

I just set up the DECT phone on a different extension and I get the same issues as in the first post when dialing extension to extension both ways.

Saqqara - to answer your question. For DECT phones, you do the provisioning under the FXS/DECT option in the Advanced section of 3CX. Inside of that you set the extension. Unless I'm missing something, the DECT phone does not then show up in the Phones options near the top of the page in 3CX.

I'm using Local as the method per the instructions.

So local is the only supported method, but is your 3CX phone system local? If you have 3CX in the cloud it won't work.

That could be it! There are some secondary instructions on another page for STUN or SBC additional entries. Which of those should be used for a cloud (Amazon Lightsail) hosted 3CX system?

SBC requires something to run the 3CX SBC software on so I'd try STUN for now. If you eventually plan to have more than one physical phone set at that location then a SBC is definitely recommended. STUN you may also need to forward ports on your local firewall (local to the W60P) although often you can get away without for just a single phone.

Thanks everyone for your help. I was able to get STUN to work. One additional comment for anyone in the future that stumbles upon this thread. Make sure that "Disallow use of extension outside the LAN (Remote extensions using Direct SIP or STUN will be blocked) " is unchecked in your extension's settings in 3CX.
