How to factory reset a Grandstream phone

Introduction

Follow the steps below to factory reset your Grandstream device in order to bring back the factory default settings. This must be done before provisioning your Grandstream phone in case the device has residual settings of a previous configuration.

Factory Reset your Grandstream GXP phone

  1. Press “Menu.”
  2. Press “Config” or System

  1. Navigate down to the “Factory Reset” option and press “Menu” or “OK” depending on the model.

  1. Select and confirm “OK” to restart your phone, after which it will be successfully reset.

Factory Reset your Grandstream GRP26 series phone

  1. Press menu “Menu”
  2. Navigate to “Settings”
  3. Navigate to “Advanced Settings”
  4. Select “Factory Reset” and confirm to restart your phone, after which it will be successfully reset.
