Factory reset your snom phones

Follow the steps below to factory reset your snom device in order to bring back the factory default settings. This must be done before provisioning your snom phone in case the device has residual settings of a previous configuration.

Factory Reset your snom phone D1, D3, 7, D7 and 8

  1. Power off the device
  2. Press, hold the “#” key and power on the device
  3. Keep holding the “#” button until the message “Rescue Mode” appears:

  1. Select the “1. Setting reset” option, by pressing the number “1” on the phone
  2. After restart, your phone will be successfully reset

Factory Reset your snom MeetingPoint phone

  1. Power off the device
  2. Press, and hold the “3rd” button (below the display) and power on the device
  3. Keep holding button until the message “Rescue Mode” appears:

  1. Select the 1st option  “Settings reset”, by pressing the number “1” on the phone
  2. After restart, your phone will be successfully reset

Factory Reset your snom C520 phone

  1. Press the Menu key
  2. Type 07#*1850#
  3. After restart, your phone will be successfully reset

Factory Reset your snom 300, 320, 360, 370 Series phone

If the phone is not new and has been connected to another PBX system, you have to reset it first:

  1. Press  in the following order “*”, “Volume UP”, “*”, “Volume DOWN”, and then “#.”

Snom 320 IP Phone

  1. The phone will reboot and will be successfully reset.
