Since our first blog post we’ve made some important changes to the 4 SC FREE requirements and deadlines. We’ve also upgraded all 4 SC Standard Subscriptions to PRO - for free! On top of this we have an update regarding the end of the Affiliate level. Read on for more details.
4 SC Standards Upgraded to PRO
The difference between a 4 SC Standard and a 4 SC FREE was literally nothing! But when it comes to price, 4 SC Standard was paid for and 4 SC FREE is… well Free 🙂
If you’re a customer with a paid 4 SC Standard Subscription you’ve been upgraded to a 4SC PRO absolutely free!
This means you now have access to bigger and better 3CX features including:
Upon expiration, your subscription can be renewed as PRO, or upgraded to Enterprise.
More 4 SC FREE Updates
Here’s a recap of what’s happening with the 4 SC FREE:
- All 3CX FREE customers were converted to 4 SC FREE.
- This did impact some of our previous offers, which we’re happy to honor! If this affected you, find out more info here.
- All 4 SC FREE Subscriptions must be registered with a unique email address.
- The limit of 4 SC FREE per company is 1.
- All correctly registered 4 SC FREE keep their subscription until the end of 2024, at minimum.
- Incorrectly registered 4 SC FREE Subscriptions, without an assigned 3CX Partner, will expire 30th June, 2023.
Pop-Up Notifications in Web Client
By Update 8, all users of incorrectly registered 4 SC FREE Subscriptions - and not assigned to a Partner - will receive a pop-up notification in your Web Client, informing you that your Phone System will expire by 30th June 2023.

New Deadline for 3CX Partners
Good news for Partners! The deadline for our Partner base to correctly register their 4 SC FREE Subscriptions has been extended from 30th June, to 1st of September. This gives you an extra 2 months to make the necessary changes and to ensure you’re within your Partner level quota.
4 SC FREE Partner Quotas
The quota of 4 SC FREE per Partner level was also increased for Platinum and Titanium Partners. To recap, here are the limits for all Partner levels.

Conversion of Affiliates to End-Users
All Affiliates will be converted to end-user accounts by the end of May, 2023. Alternatively, you still have the option to become a 3CX Partner.
I Want to Become a 3CX Bronze Partner
Any Affiliate company interested in becoming a 3CX Partner still has the chance to do so! All you need to do is contact the 3CX Sales Team and commit to hitting Bronze Partner level at the very least, by the end of 2023. If after this extension, targets are still not met, your account will be converted to end-user status.
What Happens When An Affiliate Account Converts to End-User?
- The limit of 4 SC FREE per company is 1.
- If you have any additional 4 SC FREEs they must be registered correctly to the actual users of the Phone Systems.
- Users of incorrectly registered subscriptions will be notified that their subscription is at risk, via a pop-up in their Web Client.
- Such incorrectly registered subscriptions will expire 30th June, 2023.
- Your ability to manage other users’ subscriptions will no longer be possible via your newly created end-user account.
