I was about to ask the same thing! Is the possibility of having the same extension number in different tenants coming?I'm trying to understand that you cannot assign the same numbering plan to different companies in the MCM. This would then not be correct to call Multi-tenant, rather it should be called use of the same machine for different companies but not Multi-tenant. Aren't you planning to solve this to be able to have a real multi-tenant?

What we do is have separate sip trunks, each with its own caller ID. Then assign the outbound rules per department.Bulk editing is coming
separate phonebook per department is coming

Thanks @Nick Galea. Would it be possible to import holidays? Today I had to configure holidays for 14 Departments for a Belgium customer. And there are a lot of holidays in BelgiumBulk editing is coming

That is a workaround. It is also possible to work with a prefix for an outbound rule, but that isn't very user friendly. Specially if you know there are competitors that do have the option to chose the outbound caller ID.What we do is have separate sip trunks, each with its own caller ID. Then assign the outbound rules per department.
How do you do this @Nick Galea? As someone else has mentioned, via https://www.3cx.com/install/, you can only select from the pre-determined 3CX provided addresses.Yes, you can make your own custom domain and then assign the subdomains to each tenant. We need to add some more documentation there actually. But you can see how it works if you sign up for 3CX SMB, you get a subdomain assigned it works same way.
Eg 1000.mydomain.com
PIDF-LO per extension will cover many of the use cases and will be a significant addition. If it’s possible to do this per device in the future that would be another welcome feature. Example - user with desk phone at the office/school, but uses a soft phone remotely. Another is a user like me that travels between two offices with a desk phone at each location.@ras-dw - yes that is the way...
@AaronJ - Thanks for the feedback - In terms of quotas the direction we will go is that you will archive all voice mail etc immediately out on to another machine. So qoutas itself is not something we are going to build out on. In terms of e911, we are going to beef up our options there, supporting PDFLO but it will be per extension not per department. Still it should achieve what you need I believe because it will be possible to set per extension.
Share parking, its already possible to do this. On SMB we set it up, but you can set it up per department yourself as well.
Wow, so many nice features are available in the update 2. Great job Teams 3CX.
One question about the MCM feature, will it be a hard limit to support only 20 users for each department if the partner hosts it on their hardware recourses?
It's not implemented yet, even with multi-tenant enabled. You can still set hold music on your queues though.I'm not sure if I overlooked it or not on Version 20.0 Update 2 (Build 715 Release). Has Music on Hold by department been implemented yet? Also, do you need to be set up as MCM for that feature?
