Expands ability for partners to offer 3CX SMB to their customers.

3CX V20 update 2 includes a multi-company/tenant capability allowing easy hosting of multiple companies on a single 3CX instance. This mode is ideal for smaller SOHO/SMB style businesses with up to 20 users and basic to moderate communications requirements. Rathe...

Is it possible to configure different domain name for multi tenants

Yes, you can make your own custom domain and then assign the subdomains to each tenant. We need to add some more documentation there actually. But you can see how it works if you sign up for 3CX SMB, you get a subdomain assigned it works same way.

Eg 1000.mydomain.com

Wow, so many nice features are available in the update 2. Great job Teams 3CX.

One question about the MCM feature, will it be a hard limit to support only 20 users for each department if the partner hosts it on their hardware recourses?

Congratulations @Nick Galea and the team. Another great milestone of 3CX Journey !!

API, MCM, and Teams presence! This update is great!

What else is coming in later Alpha/Beta of U2? :)

Yes, you can make your own custom domain (...)

Eg 1000.mydomain.com
How to create a custom domain ?
The installation workflow only proposes 3CX domains, no custom options.
I certainly missed something.
Thank you !

@simsyn @ConceptsWeb @58voip Thanks for the heads-up!

And web based call API (taking control of a call and processing it) is on its way!

This is brilliant news!

Good work 3CX team, and thank you for all your hard work.

aha, what's old is new again...for some of us who've been around since V12 Multi-Tenant that is :D

Look forward to testing it out!

I presume the Linux version will be the preferred deployment? Any potential HA/Failover options coming?

@Peter PBX Thank you! @pact but this is different from our first which was more like a multi instance limited to I believe 10 instances. This is a true multi tenant - no you can use Windows not problem at all. HA and Fail over same as normal system.

Yes indeed, it was Windows only with up to 25 'slots' (by the final V14 version) you could start individual instances, all running on different ports and mapping.

3CX has come a long long way since those days, exciting to read the department based breakout on the single instance, will enable even greater selling power and flexibility. Bring it on!

This is truly a great addition to v20 - especially for those really small 'just need to call' <= 4 SC environments! Thnx!

Great addition.
I'm wondering how it works with music on hold ?

Hello,
Can we add a music on hold by Departement ?
Can we have Contact by Departement ?

Phonebook per department is coming in the next few months.

Looking forward to test this. V20 is clearly making the move towards enterprise customers. Allthough at this moment we are missing some features that are often required by enterprises.
- bulk editing users
- importing queues
- connections to multi tenant M365
- separate phonebooks
- selecting oubound caller ID by users member of different queue

I am sure these features will be roadmapped soon

I'm trying to understand that you cannot assign the same numbering plan to different companies in the MCM. This would then not be correct to call Multi-tenant, rather it should be called use of the same machine for different companies but not Multi-tenant. Aren't you planning to solve this to be able to have a real multi-tenant?

separate phonebook per department is coming
select outbound caller ID will come on a user and per call basis, I.e. you can select your outbound route and caller ID from the app dial pad
