Hello. I would like to decommission my 3cx hosted instance, and reinstall to an AWS account, but I'd like to ensure a smooth transition and no DNS errors. Is there a way I can do this through the console, or can someone from 3CX shut down the instance at a specific time? Thanks!

Basic is
A Backup of running 3CX (have it on your local computer) perhaps without key and FQDN, you can do a full one in a second backup file in case of needed.

To stop 3cx hosted instance don't know if you have to wait until it ends alone or more surely ask 3CX staff to do it for you.

You can install before your new instance on AWS and a fresh 3CX , restore from your backup when wizard ask for.

You surely can't have a smooth transition due to DNS propagation (6 hours STD and Pro licences) or do the work at night when no one use the PBX normally.

Yes, was hoping I could get that done today, as it's Sunday and not being used.

I wouldn't mind leaving it hosted, but there is an issue with the cpu running at 100 percent utilization every day and calls become garbled. I have been unable to troubleshoot the issue, when I go to services, they're all low under 1 percent, but yet the cpu is 100 on the dashboard. And now, with the removal of terminal i'm unable to reboot.

Hi Joey,

You can proceed with the migration using your own hosted instance and just inform us to take down the free 3CX hosted instance via https://www.3cx.com/contact-form/ and selecting the category PBX Express (hosted instances).
