Our users are reporting that the 3CX mobile app will quit communicating with the server. The only fix we have is to reboot the server. But this is becoming a pain in everyone's ass. What is the server service required to run the mobile app? We would like to write a script that restarts this specific service on a regular basis.

Or are there any other ideas on how to prevent the app from failing all the time?

Need more info

What version of 3CX are you running.

What version of 3CX mobile app, maybe worth checking for newer version.

When it stops, are the phone external or internal to your 3CX system

Have you tried reprovisioning the 3CX application with the user details. Send the welcome email, and reconfigure the account

Not sure what you mean, but they're people's mobile android and iOS phones running the latest 3CX app attempting to connect with our phone server outside and inside the office.
Yes - attempted re-provisioning the 3CX app. It stops for everyone, not just one user. So we know it's server side and not client side.

Hello @GenericAccount

What do you mean by quit communicating? Do the users stop receiving calls or are the clients unable to register to the server?

Both. They cannot send or receive calls and they can't register with the server. It says it's unable to communicate with the server.

Check the activity log at the time this happens and see if you see any error messages relating to the issue. Also check if all services of the PBX are running when this happens
