Wasn't able to find this in searching the forum but, we currently have many people working remotely using the webclient/chrome browser extension. I have some users complaining about lag and customers saying that, at times they cant hear our sales reps. I have adjusted my codec order to match that of my sip provider and this seems to have helped but I am still wondering... can the webclients be affected by home routers/firewalls having sip alg on?
thanks

No, the Webclient uses WebRTC, which is not affected by SIP ALG.

Prefect! thanks Frederick

Indeed, you should be safe from SIP ALG on the client side
