Hey Everyone,

I have several 3CX instance running on the Debian on AWS. I would like to backup the PBX directly to an S3 bucket and wanted to know if anyone has any idea on the best way to do this?
I was thinking of doing it via FTP? Is that possible? Does anyone have a better idea or suggestion?

I have a few client that require that the recordings be stored for a couple years, so i'm looking into a long term storage solution using AWS.

FTP is a supported backup method by default in 3CX. Not an AWS expert but I image you should either be able to mount your S3 storage on your 3CX instance and backup directly to it as a 'local' backup in 3CX or use an standard linux method of transferring the local file from your 3CX instance to S3 (rsync, scp, etc)

Mount the S3 storage to the linux instance sounds like an option, so I'll do some research on how to do that.

Hopefully I can get some other feedback as well from other forum members, to see if anyone has actually successfully accomplished this task.

I'll be sure to post my results as to what i tried whether successful or not.
