BUG - Extension can login into a queue, while it is not part of a queue.

I just installed a new extension / phone.
To try the buttons on the screen, I usually fill all keys with random functions.
This time, I had a LOGIN / LOGOUT. When I pressed the LOGIN, I heard the voice guide saying "This extension is logged in into the queue", while this extension is actually not.

If an extension cannot login into the queue (or "a" queue) because it is not part of it, the voice guide should say "Can't login into this queue" or something like that..

This functionality can be effected by where you are logging in from, if you are logged in from somewhere else or whether you have been logged in/out of the queue from the PBX.

Please note that by pressing that button you are actually dialling a dial code related to this setting. If the action is invoked then the prompt will play regardless if the extension is a member of a queue or not. This affects the global login status of the extension so it can be changed even if an extension is not a member of a queue. If you navigate to the Extensions tab and select the extension and then Status you will see the Global status setting for the Queues. That is what is changed when the dial code is invoked, it does not log the extension into a specific Queue.

My point that this phone does not belong to any queue.
I know it should not have a BLF setup, but I think if an extension is not part of any queue, it should have a different voice guide "This extension is not part of a queue" for example, in order to be more informative. Just my 2 cents.

I understand your point of view on this however since the extension has a queue status even if it is not part of a Queue then i do not consider this a bug. You could post this as a feature request to our ideas section of the forum https://www.3cx.com/community/forums/3cx-ideas/ . All posts are reviewed by their corresponding Departments and, if feasible and voted for by other users as well, may be implemented in an upcoming service pack or update.
