Cannot change Default Internet facing IP Address

Hi all,

We had our router, which segregated our VoIP traffic from the rest of our data traffic, die. We are moving over to a Sonicwall appliance to handle all that traffic redirection. In order to make this work I need to change the gateway to change from the internal IP of our VoIP server to that of the Sonicwall. However, that field (Settings>Network>Public IP>Select Network Card Interface) is not editable, it only has a dropdown with the single IP in it. Can anyone help? Thanks.

There have been a few posts on this in the past. The route seems to be, change to Dynamic IP, change the IP, then change back to static. I'll try to find a recent post on the topic.

Sorry, re-read your post, and I originally though you were attempting to change the public IP of the 3CX server. I see now that is not the case. You will have to provide a bit more information on what it is you are attempting to change.

I'm not 100% sure that's what the OP is asking. If you need to change the gateway that is basic networking at the OS level and has nothing to do with 3CX.
