Hello,

I have been able to get to my MC from any browser until I paused my machine on the GCP. Once I resumed the instance, I could not get to the MC from any browser. No changes were made- the only thing I did was pause and then resume a couple of days later.

The instance is running and I can SSH to it with no problems. I have made sure that the 3CX services are running. I have stopped and started them numerous times. I am not able to install Chrome Remote Desktop because of the version of the machine, but I should not have to do that.

Just not sure what happened by just pausing and resuming the instance. Has anyone ever had this issue? Any assistance would be appreciated.

EDIT 1: I got tired of fooling around with it and created an new instance with my license. All is good. I just know now that I need to take snapshots and backups AND do not pause or stop a VM in the GCP. Thanks for the attempts to help out.

Have you tried just rebooting the instance completely?

also, never pause a VM... that has bad effects on softwares like 3CX

Your machine's IP probably has changed. It will take a little time for the FQDN to update.

For now, find your public IP and log in using the IP instead of the FQDN.

Click on "IP" in the dashboard (rightmost Information panel) and select the option Dynamic Public IP (IP changes) then press OK. This should ensure you FQDN gets updated in a few minutes

@Frederick Marcoux rebooting has no affect. I have done that several times also.

@JohnS_3CX the public IP did change, but it resolves on DNS checkers. I still cannot get to it with the public IP or public IP:5001.

This appears to be on the wrong section. This section is for hosted by 3CX which your instance does not appear to be. I've never paused a VM under Google so I couldn't tell you for certain but it's possible that if the IP changed that the GCP firewall rules didn't follow.

Then check whether you made any changes to the Google firewall (this can lock you out).

SSH into the machine and ensure the services are running by typing sudo 3CXStartServices
