Hello,

I have a SIP trunk with multiple DIDs behind it, and I only have one SIP account. The incoming rules work just fine and I'm able to route calls to extensions depending on which DID was dialed.
Normally when I have multiple trunks with individual SIP settings I setup outbound rules that route the call via one of them depending on the international code, e.g. a call to UK (44/+44) will be routed via a SIP trunk with UK DID associated with it.
How do I change displayed Caller ID depending on the dialed number while working with a single SIP trunk?
1. I cannot create multiple trunks with the same SIP settings and different names to use in Outbound Rules as usual - for some reason 3CX doesn't allow me to do that.
2. I cannot use Caller ID settings of a SIP trunk because they don't work with dialed number.
3. I cannot use "Outbound Caller ID" of an extension because the same extension calls to different destinations and have different CIDs displayed.

What confuses me the most is that I can handle different DIDs within singile SIP trunk in Inbound Rules, but the same is not possible with Outbound Rules with the same trunk. I feel like I'm missing something.

There's a number of ways to accomplish that but the trunk is generally the easiest. In those scenarios that require it we provide our customers with IP authenticated trunks since trying to add multiple trunks using the same registration information is bad juju.

Hello @ddfrow

Currently you can only select different outbound caller ids by using multiple trunks or dialling from a different extension.

It’s been in progress for a while now.
In the meantime we offer this feature free of charge with our SIP trunking services.
Let me know if you need any more details or would like a test run with our SIP trunk.
