Hi there,

I need to configure a PBX with day/night mode, instead of Office/Non-working hours. The customer wants to put the PBX on and off manually.

On the other hand, I need to base settings, like IVR on the working/non-working hours, because under SIP trunk or under inbound rules, the different scenarios are starting based on that.

Please advise me how can I do that? How can I bypass the automated office/non-working hours.

Thanks a lot in advance for your help.

settings > dial codes > Force 3CX Phone System to IN or OUT of office > lets say its *50

*501 will turn the system to in office operation.
*502 will turn the system to out of office operation.

settings > dial codes > Force 3CX Phone System to IN or OUT of office > lets say its *50

*501 will turn the system to in office operation.
*502 will turn the system to out of office operation.
*50 will return the system back to the defined hours.

Hi @3cxnub!

Thank you very much for your answer. I put the *50 under the setting you suggested and it looks like working like a charm!

I still have one more question. I setup under the SIP trunk as destination a ring group, which consists from two member extensions. If I use the "Agent Login/Logout" function, is there any possibility to achieve the same result? Because I want when one of the users (no matter who) is in the office and put agent login the PBX to be on a day mode and when both are logged out, to be on the night mode (non-working hours).

Thanks a lot in advance for your prompt reply and the accurate answer!

Agent login/Logout is only for queues, not ring group.group.

I would like to thank you all for your support and all the accurate answers.

If I understood correctly, you want the PBX to toggle IN and OUT of office mode depending on the agents that are logged in, then I'm afraid this is not possible.

Hi @ChrisC_3CX!

That's true, but the answers of @3cxnub and @ConceptsWeb covered me and did the trick... ;)

Thanks a lot and have a nice weekend.
