Debian upgrade 8 to 9

Anyone having problems performing upgrades through 3CX? Once I click upgrade it kicks me out of the console.

Upgrades always kick you out of the console because services are stopped. This is to be expected.

Since you are upgrading the OS, it takes a pretty long time, at least that is what we have seen. Like over an hour.

Firstly make a full 3CX backup and download it off the machine to safeguard your data.

Since you are making an OS upgrade, you can do it either via the PBX MC if it appeared in the updates section https://www.3cx.com/blog/docs/upgrade-debian-9/

Or, you can do it via SSH https://www.3cx.com/blog/docs/upgrading-debian/

Since it's a major OS upgrade, you may better yet choose to start fresh using the 3CX ISO to ensure as a precaution that nothing broken from the past is left behind and you have the best possible installation.

What exact version is your PBX currently?
