DECT phone – Displays only internal contacts to facilitate transfers

Hello,

We use DECT cordless phones and are experiencing difficulty quickly accessing internal contacts when transferring a call.For example, with the Yealink AX83H model.

On the phone, in the 3CX Phonebook (PBook), we have the following options:

Remote Directory > Company:
This directory does contain internal contacts, but they are mixed with the entire external company directory, making searching impractical, especially when there are many contacts.

Remote Directory > Personal:
Here, we only have personal contacts, but this only corresponds to the user's personal directory, not all internal company contacts.

All Contacts:
This corresponds to the phone's local directory, which is not what we need.

Our requirement is to be able to quickly and easily display only the list of internal contacts (extensions) to facilitate call transfers from the cordless phone.

Is there a way in 3CX to:

• display only internal extensions in a dedicated directory, or
• filter the Company directory to show only internal contacts, or
• use a different directory optimized for internal transfers?

Kindly note that all PBX extensions are automatically added to the Company Phonebook. This means that the Company directory will always include both internal extensions and any external company contacts that are present in the phonebook.


Am afraid that it is not possible to filter, modify, or create a separate directory containing only internal extensions.
The Phonebook options are determined by the phone manufacturer and cannot be changed or filtered in 3CX
