Per this update
https://www.3cx.com/blog/releases/e911-pbx-update-5-alpha/
It was supposed to be possible to include in the email and chat notification more customized detailed information based upon calls from an extension group.
While it is possible to setup an extension group and create a rule for emergency numbers associated with that group, there is no customized notifications per rule.
There is only one template and one notification rule for emergency numbers.
The template refers to variables for email templates.

I see no variable for a call/extension group. I could create an extension group called "2nd FL NE".
The name of that extension group could be injected into the email notification if it was a possible variable. No variable appears to exist.
I understand that a reception or emergency manager could keep track of the mapping of more granular locations to the extension which dialed the emergency number.
But the e911 PBX update indicated that it is now possible to provide more detailed information in the email notification.
While it is possible to put whatever you want in there as static data, there appears to be no way to distinguish between locations INSIDE the same building based upon a variable being included in the email notification. This is a functionality that is highly desired. Running a separate external system to provide this data is onerous at best.
