Grandstream phones - download 3cx Personal contacts to local phonebook on phone

Hello community,

I've managed to a client Outlook contacts .csv exported up to his personal contacts on his extension. That works fine when receiving calls 3CX is showing the caller's name on the Grandstream phone (GRP2612W). The challenge though is getting those contacts into the local phonebook on the phone so the user can dial to his contacts from the local phone phonebook.

Anyone has experience or directions how to get that going?

Hi Roy,

Any contacts you add in the 3CX Company phonebook will then be synchronized to all the phones.

You need to populate these 3 fields specifically:

We're not using the Company phone book, as not relevant to all users. Any way to get those personal contacts to the local phonebook on the phone (Grandstream, Yealink ...)?

Hi,

No, sorry the phones can only be provisioned with the company phonebook.

Personal contacts are only available in the 3CX clients, not on the deskphones.

So if you want personal contacts on the deskphone, you will have to manually add them to your phone by consulting the phone's user manual.
