Solved Hosted 3cx. cannot login to 3cx management cconsole.

Getting this error when i'm trying to login.

Login access denied. Too many incorrect login attempts. Try later or contact the Administrator.

I know the password is correct as I have it written down. I went into th instant manager portal and requested a reboot. After the reboot. I still get the same message. Anyonw know how I can log back in? is this a bug?

No it's not a bug. Rebooting doesn't change the blacklist timer. Try from another internet connection but it sounds like you didn't write the password down properly

I just had the exact same issue with my hosted by 3cx instance, what's more is that in the partner portal, I have no instances listed, and under keys, if I hit MANAGE, it tells me that it can't find my system...

No it is not a bug, if you got blacklisted, the only way in is to log in from another public IP that has not yet been blacklisted. There's no other way around this.

I suggest you login from another public IP, then type the administrators username and once you type the wrong password (it will inform you) you will see the option appear "Forgot Password?"

you are right.. it was blacklisted.. i removed it and i was able to login.. thank you!!

To avoid this, I managed to have an additional subdomain on my webserver, which is a proxy-pass to the 3CX webinterface. This way, the IP of the webserver has a few additional attempts to login (...)

Or just whitelist the IP you admin from?

Yes, you can whitelist the public IP from which you connect (if it is a static one of course) and you will not be blacklisted.
